It has been way too long since we last posted about ZJ. I have convinced myself that uploading picture’s and video’s to Facebook and Flickr would suffice but I would really like to capture more of our memories of ZJ’s growing up here on his webpage.
For this post I have decided to combine a bunch of small clips of Karen and I playing with ZJ over the past couple months into one video. Unfortunately most of these video’s only capture small giggles and smiles here and there. Every time ZJ goes into a laughing fit Karen or I try to find the camera quickly. Unfortunately once we get set up and hit record he is typically done laughing leaving us to record messages like “You should have seen him a minute ago” or “He must know when the camera is on”. I guess I need to start carrying my pocket camera around in my pocket to capture those moments as they are priceless.
ZJ is currently 140 days old. Every day that I am with him I love him more and more. Every day that I watch Karen play with him I am rewarded with knowing that I have picked an absolutely perfect Mother. Karen can make ZJ smile in an instant.
ZJ is currently 14lbs 3 Oz and 25 1/2 inches tall (58th percentile!). He has rolled over but does not do it frequently. He has excellent neck control and follows objects and faces intently. Pretty soon we expect he will start some big milestones and I will try to make sure I blog about them when they happen.
We hope your Spring is off to a wonderful start. It is definitely time for some sunshine
